Pirate re-inaction has really taken off in the last 10 years, I have no doubt its popularity has been helped along by the blockbuster Pirate of the Caribbean movies by Disney. What ever our reasons we all love pirates! What a great excuse to dress up, drink rum and otherwise party like pirates every September 19th (and sometimes for days before and after)! Thanks to FB and its "official" pirate language setting its so easy to really get into the swing of things : )

Foxy fun
Check out this smiling fox, who was captured using an abandoned conveyor belt as a play slide. It was originally posted at Metro UK.
The four-legged scavenger was spotted by photographer Duncan Usher while he was in the German village of Bursfelde, taking pictures in an unused gravel quarry. According to Usher, the fox loves to speed down the chute and actually trotted back to the top several more times while he was taking pictures - was he having fun or relieving an itch from worms? Either way its a cute photo ^_^

Most UK residents hate the thought of returning home late at night to find the dreaded urban fox rummaging through their bin - I personally chase them off when they come sinffing around our chickens. But I still love the sneakiest of our British wildlife and it seems this little character would be most welcome by many others too : D
Another animal recently partaking in human-esque activities was one clever orangutan from Japan, who used a wash cloth to clean his face and cool down during the heat of the day. The amazing footage was captured by a stunned guest visiting the Tama Zoological Park in Tokyo and the clip has since gone viral across the world.

Judge people
Judging people by their taste in biscuits might not sound like a very productive way to get to know someone's personality, but I found it rather interesting.
Digestive - Frugal
Malted milk - Child like
Jammie dodger - Hyperactive
Hobnob - Grounded
Bourbon - Traditionalist
Choco Leibnz - Europhile
Jaffa cake - Extrovert (yes, it counts as a biscuit)
Choc millionaire - Love lorn
I like all these biscuits, and my favourites seem to accurate, but I am disappointed that ginger nut and custard creams aren't part of the list. I just spotted this in a magazine and thought I'd share it anyway, what is your favourite?
